2017-18 (Sophomore): For the second-straight year Strickland made Western Carolina women’s tennis history when she was named Southern Conference Player of the Month for February (2018) after finishing the month with a combined 9-1 in singles and doubles play and helped the Catamounts to a 3-2 mark in the month … For the season, had a 12-7 record in singles play with 11 of the wins (11-3) occurring at No. 2 singles … In doubles play, teamed with Savannah Taranto for a 9-9 record at No. 1 singles.

2016-17 (Freshman): Became half of a doubles team, with teammate Lauren McCall, to become the first doubles tandem in Western Carolina University history to be named to the SoCon All-Conference Second Team … Strickland and McCall teamed up to go 10-3 in doubles action for the Catamounts including a 5-1 record in Southern Conference play this season … Individually, Strickland and McCall each won 17 doubles matches throughout the season breaking the previous WCU single-season mark of 13 held by former Catamount Shannon Bettiol … Strickland had a strong freshman singles campaign as well for WCU including ending the regular season playing the final 12 matches at No. 1 for the Catamounts. Overall, she finished with a 13-12 mark in singles play including 8-3 at No. 2.

Prior to Western Carolina: Was a 4-star recruit according to TennisRecruiting.net ... Was ranked as high as 160 nationally in the 2016 recruiting class ... Was the number three recruit out of North Carolina ... Was a four-time NCHSAA 4A State Doubles Champion with teammate Samantha Smith ... Led Panther Creek High School to three 4A State Championships ... Was a two-time G18's Doubles Champion for the North Carolina Tarheel Qualifier ... Was Champion of the North Carolina Summer State Closed 18s in 2015 ... Was the recipient of the USTA North Carolina Junior Sportsmanship Award in 2015 ... Competed throughout her junior career at the Sectional and National level ... Finished with a 42-3 singles record in high school and a nearly perfect 42-1 doubles record with the lone loss coming as a sophomore.
